Maybe you're thinking that there's a way around everything on this site. Theoretically, that's true. But it would take a very dedicated thief and near perfect conditions for that to happen. In the real world, the stars just don't line up that way. Make your best effort, be careful where you park and what you tell people. You'll be fine.
Maybe you're thinking that thieves are going to read to this site and that will defeat the purpose of it. That simply isn't true. First of all, the chances of a thief reading this site and then encountering a vehicle that had the alarm installed this way is very very unlikely. Secondly, I've offered alternatives so that no two vehicles need to be the same. Lastly and most importantly is the fact that knowing where the alarm is doesn't mean that it's an easier to get to. Knowing that there is a backup battery doesn't negate it. Knowing that the external siren is fused so that you can't short the internal siren doesn't help a thief one bit. Just don't be an idiot and tell people specifics about your security, ie, where your kill switch is.

I am an advanced MECP with several years of experience at the two leading mobile install national retailers. I have also taken into consideration comments/corrections made by other installers who have looked over this site.
The site operator over at team-integra.net deleted my post and the posts of others who have tried to spread the word about this site. MorningZ claims that it is unpaid advertising. Promoting free information is not called "advertising", it's called "the internet".

According to a former client of MorningZ's, this low life has been doing side jobs and he decided that my site is in direct competition with him. The sad part is that according to this former client, MorningZ botched the install and refused to fix it. Not only that, but he charges more than I used to (when I was still taking side jobs) for what amounts to a basic under-dash install like what you could get a Circuit City or Best Buy.
What a disservice to the Integra community (The #1 stolen vehicle for many years running) to have this guy attract so many to his site, and then keep them in the dark so he can have his little monopoly. MorningZ, you are a greedy bastard and a coward. You're basically an accessory to car theft. In the spirit of spreading free information over the internet, I dedicate this site to you. Maybe you'll learn some things.
(The thread was deleted but basically a number of people on Honda-Tech said that they were banned from Team Integra as well.)
